When you are traveling, you should always take along a travel first aid kit in case of an emergency. You might be far from decent medical supplies or care, and the first aid kit may be the only thing you have. This means items like some Band-Aids, aloe-vera gel, and treatment for blisters. You’ll also want to take along some antiseptic ointment. For headaches, take aspirin, acetaminophen, or ibuprofen.

Traveling always brings the risk of minor stomach upset. You should pack over-the-counter remedies for diarrhea, constipation, and upset stomach.
